Subject: Let’s Make Our Voices Heard: Join Us for a Town Hall

The time has come to confront the glaring silence from our current representative, Congressman Chip Roy (TX-21). Despite countless issues facing the district, Congressman Roy has refused to hold a single town hall. Instead of listening to us, he has aligned himself with the extreme MAGA wing of the Republican Party and supported policies that reflect Donald Trump’s divisive agenda rather than the needs of his constituents. This disregard for accountability cannot go unanswered.

To fill this void, Hays County Democrats, and every Democratic Club, including Hays County Tejano Democrats, are stepping up. Local Democrats are hosting a town hall and have extended an invitation to Congressman Roy. While we don’t expect him to attend and address the concerns of the people he represents, we are thrilled to announce that Congressman Greg Casar, a dedicated Democrat from a neighboring district that also includes parts of Hays County, will be there to answer your questions and discuss the issues that matter most to our community. This is our chance to demonstrate what true representation looks like—engaged, accessible, and responsive.

This town hall is not just another event; it is a platform for us to express our frustration, demand accountability, and advocate for the values we believe in. It’s time to show that we will not stand idly by while our voices are ignored, and our district is left without meaningful representation. By coming together, we can make a powerful statement that our community deserves better.
